LOB work awarded at the BRAINN Workshop

Our work entitled "Assessment of patients diagnosed with carotid atherosclerosis disease by NIRS methods," by our Andrés Quiroga et al., was presented and awarded as Best Project / PhD student during the 5th BRAINN Congress. In this work Andrés reported his pilot results of cerebrovascular reactivity in patients diagnosed with carotid stenosis, as measured by NIRS, during breath holding. The work is part of Andrés' current PhD project, and the first results are really promising!
We all congratulate Andrés and the other coworkers of this project for this recognition. Way to go!
