A work of our Rodrigo Forti about the use of optical techniques in clinical situations has been published on the Journal of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases.

The work, entitled "Transcranial optical monitoring of cerebral hemodynamics in acute-stroke patients during mechanical thrombectomy," by Rodrigo Forti, Chris Favilla e coworkers, aimed to show the feasibility and the potential of diffuse correlation and diffuse optical spectroscopies as bedside monitor of stroke patients during thrombectomy. The work presents case studies that were collected at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania through collaboration with Penn in the US. The full paper can be accessed on https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jstrokecerebrovasdis.2019.03.019
