Opportunities at LOB through Fulbright scholarships

The Fulbright Program has just opened a call for a variety of postdoctoral and early career awards that allow American scholars who completed their doctoral degrees within the previous five years to do collaborative research in foreign labs - Brazil included. We hosted a Fulbright scholar in the past and that was an excellent experience from both ends.

Information about eligibility, application tips, and review criteria are available on the Fulbright website. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2018.

The Fulbright Commission in Brazil is offering, jointly with the Brazilian government agency CAPES, grants to US scholars to do research and/or teach in Brazil. The award covers travel and stay related costs for three or four months. The four month stay can be split into two two-month in-country visits.
